Facts

Thirty years ago, a maker laid down this spirit and trusted the slow work of oak. The name captures one decisive moment. After three decades of patient sleep, the cask was judged ready and time was held still in the bottle. That idea sits at the heart of the Time Re:Imagined collection. Inside the glass, the years show as warm spice and deep honey. Rich orchard fruit rounds it out, with a long, gentle finish. There is a quiet thread of old tobacco leaf too. This is a malt that rewards a slow, unhurried pour and a little patience.

About the distillery

Distillery

Glenfiddich

Glenfiddich is a Scotch whisky distillery located in Dufftown, Scotland. Founded in 1887, it is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family-owned and operated to this day. The distillery is situated in a picturesque valley next to the River Fiddich, with water flowing from the nearby Robbie Dhu spring providing a key ingredient in the whisky production process. Glenfiddich uses traditional copper pot stills to distill its whisky, which is aged in oak casks for a minimum of three years before bottling. In 1963, Glenfiddich introduced the world's first single malt whisky to be marketed outside of Scotland, helping to kickstart the global popularity of single malts.

About the Glenfiddich 30 years Suspended Time

Glenfiddich 30 years Suspended Time is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside in Scotland. It comes from Glenfiddich, the famous distillery in the heart of whisky country. This bottling belongs to the Time Re:Imagined collection, a series built around the idea of the maker's decisive moment. The name tells a small story. Thirty years ago, the spirit was laid into oak and left to rest. After three decades, the moment arrived to call it ready. Bottling it suspended that long maturation in a single point of time. That is the thought behind Suspended Time. Glenfiddich sits in Dufftown, deep in Speyside. The distillery has stayed in family hands for generations. It draws water from the Robbie Dhu spring nearby. That sense of place and quiet continuity runs through every cask. Few names in Scotland carry this much heritage. It shapes the character of Glenfiddich 30 years Suspended Time. The whisky matured in a mix of American and European oak casks. Long years in wood build remarkable depth and balance. Expect warm spice on the nose and a core of honey. Rich orchard fruit follows, with subtle sweet sherry notes underneath. A whisper of ginger lifts the middle. The texture feels soft and almost waxy. The finish stays warm, honeyed and long. Thirty years in oak gives this single malt Scotch whisky real weight and grace. Pour it neat to let those layers open slowly. There is no rush with a malt of this age. Sip it gently and the spice, honey and fruit unfold in their own time. Glenfiddich 30 years Suspended Time is a bottle made for quiet, thoughtful moments rather than hurried ones.
