Bulleit 10 years Kentucky Bourbon is a straight bourbon whisky from the United States. It is aged for ten years in charred American white oak barrels. Bulleit bottles it at 45.6% ABV using a high-rye mash bill for a spice-forward frontier character. The brand traces its roots to Augustus Bulleit's 1830s recipes. The modern distillery continues that high-rye tradition today. Barrels selected for extended ageing develop deeper oak influence over the standard expression. Vanilla and caramel shift toward darker chocolate and baking spice. The rye content keeps the palate lively throughout. Cinnamon, clove, and citrus ride over caramel and cherry on the palate. Oak and leather add structure as the glass rests. Cocoa and coffee hints emerge behind the spice. Fresh fruit notes stay subtle, letting the wood do most of the talking. A long, warming finish carries smoky oak and sweet vanilla into the aftertaste. This ten-year-old release marked Bulleit's first age-stated bourbon. It showed what extra time in barrel could add to the family recipe. The deep russet colour and rich oaky nose signal maturity before the first sip. Bulleit 10 years Kentucky Bourbon rewards neat sipping for fans of aged, spice-forward bourbon. It offers a clear step up in depth from the flagship. The characteristic rye bite stays intact from start to finish. Dark chocolate and cherry undertones add further richness behind the cinnamon and clove spice. Earthy oak and buttery corn notes round out a full-bodied Kentucky straight bourbon profile.
