Tamnavulin
Tamnavulin is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. Established in 1966, it is a relatively young distillery compared to others in the region. The name Tamnavulin means "mill on the hill" in Gaelic, which refers to the distillery's location near a hill with a water mill. Tamnavulin's whisky is made using traditional methods, including a long fermentation process and aging in oak casks. Tamnavulin is known for its smooth and approachable whisky, with a gentle sweetness and notes of vanilla and fruit. The distillery produces several expressions of single malt, including a 12-year-old and a 25-year-old, which have gained popularity among whisky enthusiasts.
