Rampur Sangam

Rampur Distillery is one of India’s oldest distilleries, established in 1943 in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttar Pradesh. Operated by Radico Khaitan, it produces premium Indian whiskies using traditional methods combined with local climate influence. The region’s unique climate, with big temperature changes from day to night, helps the whisky mature faster and adds a distinct character to its flavour. Rampur is best known for its single malts, such as Rampur Select, Rampur Double Cask, and the limited-edition Jugalbandi series. The distillery uses Indian barley and copper pot stills, and ages its whiskies in a variety of casks, including bourbon, sherry, and wine barrels. Its expressions often feature tropical fruit, spice, and oak, reflecting both Indian heritage and modern whisky craft.
