The word “Jugalbandi” refers to a classical Indian musical duet, reflecting how two barrels come together in harmony. This whisky is first matured in American bourbon barrels in the high-heat, high-humidity Indian climate, which accelerates maturation and intensifies flavour. It is then finished in select Calvados casks from Normandy, France. The spend-in-cask strength is approximately 56.3 % ABV, non-chill filtered, with no added colour. In the glass, it pours a rich amber tone. On the nose, expect tropical fruit notes—lychee, mango, banana—underpinned by baked apple, pear, and honey from the Calvados cask.
