The distillery's flagship expression is the Macallan 18 Year Old, which is matured in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry casks. In 2018, a rare bottle of 60-year-old Macallan sold for a record-breaking £1.2 million ($1.5 million USD) at auction, making it the most expensive whisky ever sold.
