Glen Keith
Glen Keith is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in the Speyside region of Scotland. Founded in 1957, it is one of the newer distilleries in Scotland and is known for its light and fruity whisky with hints of citrus and pear. Glen Keith's unique features include the use of lightly peated malted barley and a "mash filter" for a more efficient extraction of sugars. The distillery was mothballed in 1999 but reopened in 2013 after being acquired by the Chivas Brothers. Glen Keith's whisky is typically aged in bourbon and sherry casks, and the distillery produces both single malt and blended whisky.
